Galatea Lakes Alberta
Lower Galatea Lake is a steep but short hike from the Lillian Lake Campground. This Lake is a stunning blue color and the water is very clear. Upper Galatea Lake is located just up the ridge at the other end of the lake. This lake is smaller, clear and deep but does not seem to contain fish and has not been stocked recently. For more information about the area click here.

The fish in this lake are smaller. Nothing appeared to be over 12". What they lack in size they make up for in aggressiveness which makes fishing easy.
