Shark Lake

Rating: 0 of 5
Species: Cutthroat Trout
Last Visited: 2008

Shark Lake Alberta

Shark Lake is a somewhat shallow lake located off an old logging road near Mount Shark. It appears at my visit in late 2008 that this lake has either been summer or winter killed since it was last stocked in 2006. This seems consistent with nearby Commonwealth Lake which seems to have suffered the same fate. Otherwise this lake is another Rockies gem worth a visit. Access to Shark Lake is not signed and you may have to do some route finding to get there via a potential maze of old logging roads.
