Smuts Birdwood Lakes Alberta

Smutts Lakes are located up a steep headwall trail and border Banff National Park. The upper lake has clear water while the lower lake is a bit more murky. The lower lakes water level also seems to fluctuate.

The fish in the upper lake were of decent size my largest was 14". In the lower lake I managed to catch one at 16". The action was pretty good in both lakes and fish were visible in both lakes
