Talus Lake

Rating: 3.5 of 5
Species: Cutthroat Trout
Last Visited: 2012

Talus Lake Alberta
Talus Lake is located up a tall headwall a good hike from the Mt Romulus Campground. The water is clear, deep and it is possible to see the fish rising.
The cutthroat in this lake are on the thin side with nothing over 13". I have been to Talus a couple of times and fishing here has never been that great. They were not overly active on the days I visited. Often following lures but not biting.
